When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I have no idea if I was even thinking along those lines when I was five! I know I was a few years later. I think when I was five I was bopping around, playing with my Fisher Price Little People toys and watching the Brady Bunch! That said, given that my blog is called bright & tiny gems of memory, I think this is a pretty relevant daily writing prompt to add. (It’s also my first time participating in the WordPress #dailywritingprompt!)

I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up, and I'm grown! 

When I was five, however, I probably wanted to be a singer or an actress, or a ballerina – or a princess. (You know, the usual.) My favorite Disney princess was Cinderella. Note: We didn’t have that many to choose from back in 1976.

However, just one year later, the world would be gifted with Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia. So I probably wanted to be her, too! The other people I wanted to be: Isis, and Elektra Woman.

So, long story short, I guess I wanted to be either a superstar or a superhero!
